TEC Literacy and Numeracy Workshop
The Tertiary Education Commission is supporting a number of initiatives to extend the literacy and numeracy capacity within ITOs. The ITO Embedded Literacy and Numeracy Projects are an example of this. One of these initiatives is a series of workshops designed to raise awareness of literacy and numeracy issues among ITO staff.
On Tuesday 14 October, Liz will be attending Workshop Two, in Christchurch. Workshop Two is for ITO resource writers, materials and qualification developers. It will cover:
• How do you embed literacy and numeracy skill development into resources?
• What are the Learning Progressions and how can I use them?
