Qualification and Unit Standard Review and Design - EXITO EXITO is the New Zealand training organisation for the following industries: extractives, petrochemical, gas, energy and chemical plant, blaster coating, drilling, hot-dip galvanizing, and resource recovery.Liz has been undertaking projects by contract with EXITO since 2005. She is currently working with Industry Advisory Groups for Extractives and Metalliferous Minings on their qualifications, unit standards, and coversheets for listing Australian Units of Competency on the DAS. |
Beauty Therapy Qualifications and Unit Standards - HITO HITO is the NZ Hairdressing Industry Training Organisation, and also has the responsibility for the beauty therapy industry.Liz is involved in HITO's review of current Beauty Therapy qualifications and related unit standards. This will include qualification design to meet NZQA's new requirements for listing qualifications on the NZQF. |
Pre-Moderation of Assessment Materials - MITOMITO is the Motor Industry Training Organisation.Thoughout 2010 was contracted to undertake pre-moderation of assessment materials. These included workplace-based assessment materials that integrated assessments for multiple unit standards in to packages for use in the workplace; and packages of distance learning materials. |
QA of Training and Assessment Materials - InfraTrain New Zealand InfraTrain is New Zealand's Industry Training Organisation (ITO) for the Infrastructure industries.From March 2007 to August 2008, Liz worked as the Quality Assurance Editor responsible for overseeing the quality of the learning and assessment materials that InfraTrain was developing to support the delivery of its National Qualifications. This project involved liaising with contract writers and subject specialists to ensure that all documents met InfraTrain's quality criteria for content, format, level of language, and assessments. Liz edited and pre-moderated each set of materials, and then worked with the writers where further development and improvement were required. This was a large project, involving sets of materials for over 110 unit standards covering a range of subjects within the Civil Construction and Pipelaying sectors. |
